Member Approval increases a site's privacy by controlling who gets a new account and for what user roles.

The plugin works by holding every new user that registers for moderation.

To activate the account, the admin will need to go on his Edit User page and activate it by checking a checkbox.

Older accounts can be deactivated as well by the same method.

Email notifications for "hold for moderation/account activation" can optionally be sent if needed.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

Requirements:

· WordPress 3.2 or higher

· Several documentation fixes.
· The plugin now attempts to catch AJAX login requests, and will return a WP_Error instead of redirect if caught, even if the plugin is set to redirect. This should help prevent problems with AJAX widgets.
· The plugin now supports up to WordPress 3.6-alpha.
