The 'Auto Prune Posts' plugin implements the pruning functionality found in forums for WordPress.

It allows an admin to setup a filter which automatically deletes old posts and pages older than a specific date.

Custom post types are also supported.

It can also prune content in a specific category if needed.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

Requirements:

· WordPress 2.3 or higher
