A timeline is a chart in which events are presented on a line in the order they occurred.

TimelineSetter takes a specially-structured CSV file as input and outputs standards-compliant HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

Here are some key features of "TimelineSetter":

· Add custom descriptions and even arbitrary HTML in each event card (description tooltip)
· Fluid embeds that will look great at any width
· Style the bar, notches and cards
· Get content from remote spreadsheets
· Available as a Ruby gem
· Supports any span of time from minutes to years
· Supports multiple parallel event series in a single timeline
· Can be embedded in CMSs or works as a stand-alone
· Requires no server-side processing after the timeline has been generated

Requirements:

· JavaScript enabled on client side
· TableFu
