It adds two more widgets, identical to the original one, but with filtering criteria for showing the recent posts list.

One can filter recent posts by their tags, and the other by their category.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

Requirements:

· WordPress 3.1 or higher
