lib_mysqludf_sys allows database administrators to send commands to the operation system the database runs on via SQL queries.

Not all commands and possible interactions are covered by this UDF, only those that affect the MysQL server directly and provide a quicker way of managing the OS environment without leaving the database application.

Documentation is included with the download package.

Limitations:

· A lot of damage can be done to the MySQL installation with this extension and the documentation must be read before using or deploying it to a production environment.
