The 'Types' plugin was created to help webmasters totally overhaul the WordPress core setup, allowing a custom taxonomy to be built on top of the default admin interface.
Types can basically be the only tool a developer might ever need to put a nail in WordPress as a blogging platform and use it as any regular CMS.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
