XPath (XML Path Language) is a scripting language for querying and selecting data nodes from XML documents.

The jQuery XPath plugin supports the latest stable version of the language, v2.0, allowing developers to query XML or HTML documents with XPath, via jQuery code.

The plugin originates from XPath.js, a JavaScript library developed for and from Ample SDK.
