Can be used in cutting down the size of a paragraph or line of text by truncating in various ways (middle, left right side).

By default, at the place of the truncation an ellipsis is added, but that can be changed to anything the developer might want to use. Even HTML code.

trunk8 does not rely on text length, but works with the size in pixels of the content's container.

A demo is included with the download package.

Requirements:

· JavaScript enabled on client side
· jQuery 1 or higher
