WP-DenyHosts simply oversees the login system, logging failed login attempts.
If an IP is seen regularly failing logins, it is added to a ban list, preventing him access to the login form.
There's also a networking component to WP-DenyHosts, sharing its ban list with other servers.
If an IP is seen on the ban list of more than 3 servers, it is permanently banned globally.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
Requirements:
· WordPress 3.5 or higher
