My Calendar is one of the best event manager plugins there is on the market.
It is packed full of features and allows a fine-grained control on how events are recorded, managed and displayed.
Installation:
Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
