jQuery ScrollSpy can detect which page elements enter or leave the viewport and track it for later use.

As the user scrolls up or down the page, elements are added or removed from the log, but only if they remain visible for 200ms or longer.

This avoids unnecessary tracking of elements passing the viewport when the user jumps between sections.

A demo is included with the download package.

Requirements:

· JavaScript enabled on client side
· jQuery 1.7 or higher
