Created to work on browsers that don't natively implement HTML5's placeholder attribute, $().placeholder() reproduces the same feature, but via jQuery and CSS.

The placeholders can be styled via CSS and can be generated via various techniques.

Samples for each technique are included with the download package.

Requirements:

· JavaScript enabled on client side
· jQuery 1.6 or higher
