It's small in size, fast, flexible and comes with a jQuery familiar syntax.

Cheerio is an alternative to JSDOM, for manipulating DOM elements from server-side JS.

Documentation and use cases are included with the download package.

Here are some key features of "Cheerio":

· Cheerio implements a subset of core jQuery.
· Cheerio removes all the DOM inconsistencies and browser cruft from the jQuery library, revealing its true API.
· Cheerio can parse nearly any HTML or XML document.
· Cheerio works with a very simple, consistent DOM model.

Requirements:

· Node.js 0.4.7 or higher
