The 'Audio Tube' WordPress plugin makes a lot of sense because there are million of songs hosted on YouTube, and the platform has one of the best delivery speeds around.

Audio Tube will take the YouTube player, strip the video screen and just play a video's audio instead.

Using a simple shortcode, Audio Tube allows editors to embed any song from YouTube on their site, via a player that looks like other audio players, but what looks and behaves like YouTube player as well.

Based on Navarr T. Barnier's YouTube Audio Player PHP script.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

· Dark/light skin
· Can be forced to use YouTube's JavaScript API if necessary
· Embed video by YouTube ID
· Loop the song
· Set player size
· Show or hide progress bar
· Show or hide the song timer
