The driver will allow C++ apps to save, retrieve, write and use data stored in MongoDB databases.

As the database is written in C++, the driver actually uses some core MongoDB code.

This is the same driver that the database uses itself for replication.

The driver itself is recommended for true C++ apps, instead of using the pure MongoDB database.
