Unlike other similar random ID generators, puid uses the current time value instead of a random token to generate the ID.

This creates IDs that can be tracked backed into time and hold historic information.

Besides the timestamp, other information like the machine ID, the process ID and a counter can also be incorporated with the ID.

Requirements:

· Node.js 0.8 or higher
