Works as the JS version. This is a port of the 2.4.8 version.

The PHP version even supports LESS compilation before compression, if the CSS code has been written in LESS.

The original YUI Compressor can be downloaded from here.

Requirements:

· PHP 4.3 or higher

· Substring method not needed because str_slice returns the same substring but it's more flexible since it accepts negative values.
