GIFPlayer basically extends the flash.display.Loader class to support animated GIFs as well, besides the regular movie file formats it already supports.

GIFPlayer allows an user to load a GIF image and play it frame by frame, stop it on command, or go to a particular frame.

A demo is included with the download package.
