yaml-cpp uses CMake to support cross-platform building.

It works with the latest YAML standard, version 1.2.

The library is amde of two parts.

The parser, which takes an input stream of bytes and produces a sequence of parsing events.

And the emitter, which takes a sequence of events and produces a stream of bytes.
