The command line tool is perfect because it allows users to send out tweets from the security of their shell program.

On the other hand, the Twitter IRC bot announces all received tweets from different friends in the IRC console.

The user has the option to follow or leave a friend through simple IRC /msg commands.

Here are some key features of "Twitter":

· View friends recent tweets
· View personal recent replies
· View the public timeline
· Follow and unfollow (leave) friends
· Carious output formats for tweet information
· Reads the username and password from a config file
