Foggy is not that of a complex plugin. If the browser cannot render the blur effect via the "-webkit-filter: blur" property, jQuery is used to manually produce it.
This is done in a crude but intelligent manner by making various copies of the element to be blurred and changing their transparency value.
Tested and working with IE8+, Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera and Safari.
Requirements:
· JavaScript enabled on client side
· jQuery JavaScript Library

Via: Foggy 1.1
