Using a simple shortcode or special widget in the post editing screen, editors can include a highlighted message with news or an update about the current page and its content.

The update message shortcode is [maj update="dd/mm/yy"]Update Message[/maj]

HTML content can be added to the update message, for adding links to an update post/page if needed.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

Requirements:

· WordPress 3 or higher
