'Show Hide Author' allows admins to easily customize where and when page or post author names appear.

While this can also be done via hard-coding a WP theme, the plugin uses a nicely organized UI in the WP backend to allow these customizations for non-technical or non-programming savvy users.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.

Here are some key features of "Show Hide Author":

· Show/Hide author name by category
· Show/Hide in specific posts
· Hide the "by" word preceding the author name

Requirements:

· WordPress 3.0.1 or higher
