A dimmed overlay is a transparent DIV displayed on top of the entire page.

It can be used to bring into focus other elements by reducing the visibility of others.

Dim overlays usually come with lightbox (modal) scripts, when the modal is shown and the page is dimmed down.

jqEbony provides only the code that powers the overlay animation, to eb used with other type of jQuery plugins.

A demo is included with the download.
