Imaguard will help webmasters protect their site against unauthorized viewing of its images via remote embeds.
Imaguard has two protection levels.
The first is very aggressive and will dim out the image, overlaying a text, telling the user to click on the image to view it in full, on its original site.
The second is less intrusive, and will break out of any iframe or redirect users to the local site whenever direct access of the image file is detected from a remote source.
Both levels will protect the site against bandwidth leeching, hotlinking and the new version of Google Images Search that rarely redirects traffic to the original site, by keeping users in its search interface.
