The DetectMouseOverDisabled plugin was created because the jQuery core does not have support for mouse events whenever the cursor is over a disabled HTML element.

This plugin adds this support to the jQuery core, so events like mousein, mouseout, mousestop, etc. will work over disabled form fields as well.

Under the hood, DetectMouseOverDisabled simply overlays a transparent image inside a DIV over the disabled element, so actually the mouse is still hovering an active element, even if the user does not see it.

Requirements:

· JavaScript enabled on client side
· jQuery JavaScript Library
