It was written using C++ and implements ECMAScript as specified in ECMA-262, 5th edition.

V8 can be used by developers to simply compile and run JS code.

As an extra, it will also manage dynamic memory allocation for objects.

To ease development, V8 can easily be made to run as a standalone, or embedded with any C++ application.

· ARM: allowed VFP3 instructions when hardfloat is enabled.
· Fixed instance_descriptors() and PushStackTraceAndDie regressions.
· Made GDBJIT interface compile again.
· Fixed Accessors::FunctionGetPrototype's proto chain traversal.
· Made sure that names of temporaries do not clash with real variables.
· Rejected local module declarations.
· Rejected uses of lexical for-loop variable on the RHS.
· Fixed slot recording of code target patches.
· Changed the Android makefile to use GCC 4.6 instead of GCC 4.4.3.
· Performance and stability improvements on all platforms.
