This plugin creates a special area in the WordPress administration panel where the webmaster (artist, band member, manager) can add events and their respective details.

Using a sidebar widget or a shortcode ( [mfgigcal] ), these events can then be printed on the front-end in the sidebar, posts or pages.

Installation:

Unpack and upload it to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory.
Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
